A Doctor of Chiropractic is a primary healthcare provider who is an expert on the spine, muscles, joints (musculoskeletal system) and the related nervous system. Chiropractors have at least seven years of post-secondary education, including more than 4,200 hours in assessing, diagnosing, and treating issues that affect your body's movement.

Dr. Leah Lawson develops an individualized treatment plan after an initial assessment and works with you to determine the best course of action to relieve your stiffness and pain, improve quality of life, and develop strategies to prevent it from returning. Treatments may consist of any combination of joint mobilizations/manipulations, soft tissue therapy, cupping, medical acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, therapeutic exercises, and education on self-management strategies.

Dr. Leah Lawson is a registered chiropractor in Ontario and is a member in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (www.cco.on.ca). She attended Northeast College of Health Sciences (formally New York Chiropractic College) and graduated with honours in both her Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters of Science in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction degrees.

Dr. Leah is passionate about helping you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you love. With a genuine interest in her patients’ well-being, Dr. Leah uses a combination of hands-on chiropractic techniques and therapies, including soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, cupping, scraping, and functional movement taping to individually tailor treatments to each patient.
